i've been to two alkaline trio shows in the last two months. they were both really great shows. the last show i saw was at the starland ballroom in slayerville. rufio and nightmare or you opened which wasen't all that exciting but alk 3 more than made up for it. i got to crowd surf while they were playing. then i went to the bathroom to cool off and it was so much cooler in the bathroom i was steaming. i was thoroughly exhosted afterward. i saw them in asbury park in may i was very excited before the show because the set list was suposed to be flogging molly, the bouncing souls alkaline trio, my chemical romance. i was most excited about seeing flogging molly and alkaling trio. but it never fails they had to fuck up the show by moving flogging molly outside to play at the same time as alkaline and bouncing souls at the same time as my chemical romance. i could have cared less about seeing my chemical romance. but its bullshit that they overlaped the bands like that. i wish the sound quality had been better at the asbury park show but besides that it was a lot of fun.
