One little thing at a time. When i'm feeling either over or underwhelmed w/ life, I just try to do one little thing at a time. Whether it's cleaning, or decision making, or whatever, I find I just have to tackle single things and then eventually, I get some momentum going and can handle more at a time. Maybe that's where you are right now, as well. Good luck getting it all sorted out, I know you will!

Used bike is like a used car, personally I would rather have a used Mercedes then a new Volkswagen! I am not a big bike person, but from what I understand Cannondale is a really good bike.
As for me, nothing from Wednesday on turned out exactly as planned or expected. Thanksgiving was really nice, I don't get to see my extended family too often, so that part was really cool. Unfortunately I ended up driving myself to and from for a total of 6 hours in the car. Too much time in the car to think... As for this weekend I planned on getting a lot more done then I did... means tonight is going to be a late night for me, client meeting tomorrow afternoon and I get to be in the hot seat!
How about you, good Holiday and Weekend aside from the new wheels?

Well... it's not something I would get, and I'd definitely suggest you give that one serious consideration before getting it inked, but... in the end it's your body and you need to do what makes you happy.
I might suggest getting it smaller and less obtrusive, especially for a first tattoo (it'd suck to get a giant "L" inked and then realize that you don't like the pain or start having second thoughts), but hey, your call.

it sums up what little i know about you. and if it means that much to you, i could think of nothing better. it is a very personal tattoo, just for you... and how many people are really going to see it who would have a bad opinon of it?
on the other hand, being covered in tattoos myself, and looking at it from a compositional stand point, it may be kind of difficult for a tattoo artist to capture the intimacy and meaning behind those words in such a large context, thus making them kind of cheesy like you said and not capturing the heartfelt meaning.
i know you are a professional, but in this day in age tattoos aren't looked at like they were in the 50's... especially something like that. its not like the mark of the beast or anything.
would you consider putting the words in a wonderful script on your wrists? or maybe in some sort of design on your arm some where, chest or possibly stomach?
very sexy locations but still intimate and meanigfull for you... the only regret i have about my back piece is that it is on my back and i never get to see it! dunno.. these are just thoughts.

Damn. One of the saddest sounds to me is hearing an animal in pain. I just turned on PBS and they're covering some of the household pets and zoo animals that suffered through Hurricane Katrina. POOR THINGS!!! ugh!
