Well. It's the last day of summer. I'm gonna miss it. The weather anyway.

I'm bummed. Not just because it's the end of summer but because I got doubley burned yesterday. First, I got fooled by a free nano Ipod offer. I ended up subscribing to half a dozen things I really don't need before realising that the iPod was still financially out of my reach.
Second, a girl I met and had really hit it off with stood me up with the classic line, "Have to work late". She's an office manager at an ophthamology clinic. They don't stay open late. I was fooled again.

Seems the road really does go both ways. I've been hooking up with a number of flakes and cheats lately. The nice guy is getting lessons in this shit, but I'm gonna try to hold my ground and not return the same. It really pisses me off though and make me cynical with the whole dating scene, even more so now.

That felt a little better. Now I'm gonna let it all go. "There's other fish in the sea." I've just gotta find a way out of this cesspool I've been swimming in.
