I am terribly sorry for all of those that have suffered the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Most especially those still trapped in the city of New Orleans. It breaks my heart to see so much suffering, hopelessness, and...fuck, I don't know of a better word other than desperation. I mean the looting, raping, killing and immorality that's going on has to stop. Please. Please. Please.
People need to help one another, not kick eachother when we're down.
It sucks being all the way up here in Seattle, without a car, too far from NO to help physically. I wish I could in some way. But, I don't know how. I feel guilty going on with my weekend while many are struggling for their lives. Their sanity.
The sad thing is is that there is no god to help. There is only us to help one another. I wish I were more than just a phlebotomist. Damn. If I were a nurse I'd be more useful.
I'm not better than anyone. Quite the contrary. I feel rather useless and dejected. I'm just ranting.

Garbage at Bumbershoot was awesome. It was possibly the best concert I've been to that wasn't a U2 concert. Fuck. I heart S. Manson. She kicks ASS!!!!!
