I think I'm safe. My patient was contacted and she gave conset for HIV testing, which was done and the nurse prac that treated me after my little accident called me this evening to tell me that the results were negative.
Cool.
She (my patient) also was tested for Hep C about 4 months ago with likewise negative results, so chances are pretty good I don't have to worry about that either. But, the rest of the results will be in later next week.
Jeesh. Lesson learned.
