This weekend I spent a lot of time with a lady I was seeing. We went to the Bumbershoot music and arts festival on Saturday and to her old neighborhood on Bainbridge Is. to a bbq last night. She is recently divorced and as it turns out still really bitter about it. She misses her old friends from the island and it seemed to hit her hard after showing me around. Out of the blue she got really irrational and said that we were through and that I was going home on the next ferry. Shocked, I just didn't know what to say and asked her what it was that I might of done. She said something like, "You know!" and that I was ignoring her all night or something. I was not. Anyway, she later apologized for the whole incident, but we are indeed finished. She's got her issues and I have mine, plus med school starting tomorrow, so we have to go our separate ways and tend to our priorities.
