I'm back from a week with family. It was great being with my daughter and nephew again. I sure miss them. I'm rather depressed about them being so far away, but I realize there's not much I can do about it and that this too will pass. It just still sucks.
I'm working my final week at HMC. Next week is orientation and I'm pretty excited about it. I'm ready to get started and get rolling with anatomy!
I've been dating a girl now for about a month. I'm pretty damn lucky to be doing so. She's rather awesome. So is her kid. She and I had a great night at a little hideaway near Mt. Index that was just killer. I think the place was called Rose Manor. It was sincerely awesome. Totally awesome. It was totally plush and I felt like we were royalty. The nearby train was another story though.
I'm looking forward to the next getaway with her. Hopefully it's camping or something outdoorsy and inexpensive like. Camping. Yeah.
