Today was a long and grueling one.

I met with the deans after much anxiety. I presented myself rather well. They didn't turn me down right away, they just wanted more info later. I found that out as I was on my way home and one called me to really put some pressure on. He said he needed statements from me, my therapist, and supervisors at the hospital and the restaurant I work at by 3pm tomorrow. No kidding. I frantically went home, called everyone I could and begged them to write to the deans on my behalf. Then I typed up my own, sent it and biked to work where I rushed to my therapist's side of the hospital, filled out a release form, called her to let her know I'd done so in order for her to legally write her statement on my behalf, and then put in 3 hours in the lab. Then I biked home, returned a phone call and biked to the restaurant to work 5 and half hours there. Meanwhile, my supes all agreed to write for me on my behalf and send there comments to the dean directly in a prompt manner. I just have to call one of them up tomorrow to remind him to do so.
Then I wait until 3pm. The deans will go over our comments and statements and decide whether to send me to the faculty council THIS THURSDAY and petition to them, or they will say, sorry, but no can do.
Fuck. I'm so tired and yet the drama continues.
Tomorrow I've gotta work 13 hours at the lab to make up the 5 hours I missed today for the meeting with my deans. And then I'll find out whether I advance to the next round.

Ugh!

g'nite for now.

so--

are you happy that you've got more time to explain the situation, or is this just a lot of added stress to this situation?

i hope, for all the hard work you've done today, and the realizations you've made about your life and youself has done you some good.
