I love movies. I just finished watching Grand Canyon again. I wathced it in 1991, in the theater with my ex-girlfriend, the mother of my 13 year old son, and her parents. Then, it was just a bit schmaltzy to me and I didn't appreciate it. After 15 years more of living I do. I'd say it's one of my top 25 at least.
Now I'm watching In The Cut. And it's so bizarre it's cool. Not to mention that Meg Ryan is pretty hot. I'm sure there's more to it than just being a murder mystery. Maybe I'm reading into it too much. I dunno. I've no idea where Jane Campion is going with this, but I aim to find out. Eventually.
