I got my flu shot a couple of days ago but, fear it was too late. I'm already down with something and I fear it's the flu. Maybe it's just a cold. I dunno the difference to tell you the truth.
I've had a busy week so far and I'm ready for some partying tomorrow. Yea!
I began, again, volunteering at Harborview Medical Center which I love because the people, more specifically, the nurses there, are the coolest ever. Volunteering always lifts my mood up. It feels nice to be useful/helpful.

How's your rotations going? What are your weekend plans?
I just finished my surgical rotation. The unit I was on was a combined unit of surgical /peds. Not the best combination, but it is what had to happen due to a nursing shortage.
I go to obstestics next.
My weekend is going to consist of homework. I am doing a presentation on Monday with regards to total Knee Replacement Surgery and ways of primary, secondary and tertiary preventitive measures. Sounds boring I know, but I gotta do it to get my diploma.
How about you, what do you have planned?
I hope it will make me a better nurse in the future. Only I know surgery is not my area of interest. Peds maybe, Psych definitely.
