Hey, Mr! I'm going to answer a few of your questions here and save some for another day, as I'm heading off to bed shortly.

Where were you last night?
-out for a drive in the country with nikonjustice and then home for a nice dinner. We had French bread, Brie, red wine and olives for supper!

What's your favourite colour at this very moment?
-Black

Aside from Paper Moon, what is your favourite band?
-Oh boy, i can't decide. I think Juliana Hatfield is one of my favourite artists, for sure. This is a loaded question, because it can change depending on my mood.

Do they have music I can find on the internet?
-you should be able to find something by her. I'm sure you can download her stuff somewhere, too. her new album is available thru her website as well as at any record store. her website is: www.julianahatfield.org

What's your favourite alcoholic beverage?
-Wine or any really sweet not-too-boozy-tasting cocktail. I'm such a predictable girl.

What book(s) are you currently reading?
-I'm just finishing up The Robber Bride by Margaret Atwood. Again.

Are you partial to Canadian or American film directors?
-probably American directors, simply because I'm not too familiar with that many Canadian ones.

Who's your favourite?
-I'm kind of a sucker for John Hughes, to be honest. I wish I could have been a teenager in the 80s. Other than that, I don't have a more serious favourite.

Do you like dogs?
-Yep. I like the little ones, mostly. I want a pug once I get a place with a yard.

Why?
-in general because they're so cute and cuddly, and I like small things. I love pugs' squished in little faces.

That's it for now, I'm so sleepy! I had a rough morning, I saw a dead kitty that looked like it had just recently been run over in the street on the way to work and I just burst into tears in the car. It tainted my whole day. What a crap way to start the week. R.I.P, kitty.

I'm not actually in the ER. I'm just on the trauma/surgery floor, so I see 'em after they've been to the ER. But, I still get to see some amazing stuff. And yes, the nurse always highly appreciate any help they get. And I enjoy giving it to them when I can.

How's your rotations going? What are your weekend plans?

I just finished my surgical rotation. The unit I was on was a combined unit of surgical /peds. Not the best combination, but it is what had to happen due to a nursing shortage.
I go to obstestics next.
My weekend is going to consist of homework. I am doing a presentation on Monday with regards to total Knee Replacement Surgery and ways of primary, secondary and tertiary preventitive measures. Sounds boring I know, but I gotta do it to get my diploma.
How about you, what do you have planned?

I hope it will make me a better nurse in the future. Only I know surgery is not my area of interest. Peds maybe, Psych definitely.

I'm happy to hear you are keeping busy and having a good time. I work all weekend, but I did get to go to Knott's Berry Farm yesterday. That completely rocked!

Ooh!! They put on a great show!! You'll have a blast. I saw them almost a year ago. I'd love to see them again. Have fun!

Same old, same old. Going for turkey dinner with Nikonjustice at my parents' house. The bonus is that I get to do laundry, too!

Well, I myself am not actually vegan, but there is lots of stuff you can have instead. Tofurkey, some other faux-meat product, or make some kind of nut loaf. If you buy your friend the book, check it out, there are lots of ideas in it!

I pre-ordered my DVD, and I'm still waiting for it. I just heard back from the shop today, and they're sending another. I guess it got lost in the mail.
