now that we got that taken care of...
It's been a while, I know. partly because I really can't think of what to write here, and partly because my life has been quite messy these past months.

Primarily with my mom, whose dementia is getting her evicted from the second nursing home as we speak--or rather her personality is. Now that the patina of civilization...

Thank you for your input on my blog. I think we're going to take it to the police and hope for the best. <3

well, I came and went; so this might turn out to be a proper blog for once.
The aforementioned Fleur & co. did get to go to Colorado. In the end we ended up with Fleur, Violet (a big fan of IHOP); and about 10 other companions, including the ever-necessary dragon-rabbit car assistants. The Rabbit (Fresno) is for keeping track of things like filling the...

FOR DIWALI

its dark out, not now, but then; we get up before the sun, before the heat, and even before the sound of the day. the poorest of the poor are still sleeping on dungheaps (whose composting process creates warmth for the night). we walk down the clay-dirt street almost by habit now, even though weve only been here a few weeks. the first...

Hope you will gain your energy soon again.
Its the same here, I am tired from work.

And thank you for your commentsmile
denie:
Yes definitely, and since you see many cases when it can be staged, like one person can be playing "the hurt one" and the second one can do something to you why you help to th efirst one.

It also happens...
but luckily I called the police in few minutes.

It was horrible...so sad...

Thank you once again.
Now I miss summersmile

so what started out as a modest birthday celebration involving about 20 people is now blossoming, bloating into a party with a guestimated 100 people showing up. including neighbors and folk I havent heard from in a decade (since the last big birthday party, in fact). Today was crazy we decided we needed a tent for Saturday so I got one and a very friendly...

I completely agree. If I were to get married it would be a pretty non conventional wedding. I'm happy for my friends and plenty of other people I know who are in great marriages, but I'm not ready for that big of commitment in my life. You always seem to understand me. smile
annalee:
You know, I will actually do that at some point then, I adore his work. Hope things are happy and well with you :-)

wow, this death thing is sorta staying around. could have to do with the fact that my mom has lung cancer, and that I spent 3 hours last night working with a man who will soon have his throat removed due to cancer--and when his wife heard the news her words were "thank god! now you'll finally die and I can get out of this...

Yes, I'm strictly a plant eater but I can work with that.

Thanks so much for posting it!

Recipes are always welcome.

That's good advice, most people think they can get away with hydrating the day of. Fortunately, I'm great about hydrating, and drink a ton of water every day. A few days before the race I switch between water bottles and gatorade or Heed.

so this isn't the blog I've been thinking about posting, but, as my best friend "gouglas" in 2nd grade used to say... "I'm all thunk out" I've been a little less inclined to write here, due to having to write heavy stuff on other sites, notably a message board for the top astrologers in the country--folks, friends and foes I've been battling and conniving with...

boy, I seem to be wrapped up in the past these days! My wife and I went to Colorado to deal with my 86 year old mom, who's just given up driving. She told us lots of stories about the dust bowl, the depression, and pre-war El Paso Texas. A story she likes to repeat is the one about my grandpa who, during the depression,...

Yes, more than likely I will still leave. The biggest issue is not being able to afford it. I can handle people's drama, high school was only 4 years ago - though it seems like I never left sometimes. I would like to stay, but it's between a site I occasionally enjoy or car insurance at the moment, basically. It's nice to know that there are still people that care enough to stick up for people though. Thank you again <3

Oooh, what fascinating tales =) Seems like you've come across a lot since your Fort Collins days! Fort Collins in my adopted hometown, I'm a California native actually. What's funny though is that I got accepted to Cornell and Ithaca so I -almost- made my way up there as well, but I decided to go to university here instead. Thanks so much for the well wishes =)

So, for a change, here's a blog from today.
my banner or whatever sentence has been "feels sorry for his cat Stench" for a while now. Today we put him down.
He started out life named Admiral Whitey. I live in the back country with my wife and friends on 60 acres amidst many larger farms, forest land, and gorges. Not your mother-in-law's New York...

Reading a blog, I recalled the following:
A young (8-year-old) vegetarian wrote me the following:

Has there ever been anything as lovely as a pancake?
It has entered our language in so many ways:
Flat as a pancake
Pancake makeup
and the most important of all:
Pancake Breakfast!!!
We do not hear of tofu breakfasts being offered to the community!
No one is flat as...

, that one seems to be missing on my chart. It sounds interesting though. There's a couple drinks on there that I am dying to try. Lime Grateful dead is a hard gin drink. I've never had gin before though. And I want to try purple rain which is another gin drink. They both sound like good drinks to make.
