So @juicyvonmary tagged me with this most vexing question. I have struggled to keep my buying habits limited to two albums a week since high school... that's a lot of albums... (in fact i just got four in the mail today)... anyway, there is no doubt about either for me. First the photo:

From the very first note I knew I had finally burrowed my way out of the prison grounds known as 60's pop music, and found my people haunting the darkened edges of reality. While there is not a cut on this album that I do not love, the song that I would most miss were I to have never heard it comes from the other coast:

I saw them there - the original Fillmore while they were creating this album... on Blue Cheer and other tabs of acid...
