We have many many fiber-based life forms in our domicile.
In this case the fellow second from the right is Bart the Bat (wearing green beer goggles) He has been given a quest by three dragons (aka The Committee) to find three things: a wand of light, a staff of hope and an elixir of transformation. He will eventually have six companions, one of whom may not be what he or she appears to be.
At present he is just starting out and has found his First Clue: a Mysterious Letter (aka miniature Tibetan Prayer Flags) The fellow to the far left, Ponder, is a cheetah in a top hat. He *happens* to know Tibetan and has translated this message for Alfred the Frog, Bart the Bat and Bluey the Whatever. The green legs on the right belong to Grognard the Frog who isn't part of the story (we think). Anyway... it turns out that the trio must go to the Underworld (downstairs) and seek the advice of the Wisewoman on the couch.
When they get there, they will find TWO creatures: Stub the Russian Bearot (like the Tarot but with bears - really) reader, and Huff the Smorking Labbit. One will give them good advice the other... not so much. Who will they pick? will they pick Wisely? (well they actually *can't* pick Wisely, because Wisely is an Owl that they may or may not encounter later on)... Stay tuned, I'll try to keep y'all up to date about once a week!
