What a fucked up weekend and a half
First off, I am not one to often bitch about things going wrng in my life and use them as an excuse to vent my anger and frustration over the negative things that happen in my life.
The first part of my problems came into fruition on friday night. Sam, myself and Ben were inner tube sledding down a three hundred foot hill near humboldt and north avenue on the eastside. My first descent went rather smoothly and I ended up inhaling only a pound of snow. The second one didn't go as rosy. The inner tube was starting to guide me toward a five foot jump and I had no means of stopping myself. I hit the thing at what I estimated to be about fourty miles an hour and flew off...landing head first in the wet cold snow, slamming my face in it like a fat woman would into a cheesedog. Needless to say it didn't feel pleasant as both Sam and Ben were saying something similar to the words "oh shit" and "fuck", but to eliviate any of their fear and/or concerns I jumped up the same fucking second and started chanting "fuck yeah", as I was halfway down the hill and running toward them with a look of happiness on my face....but I just continued running past them and into the back of Ben's car holding my head and saying "fuck". I went out with them the same night was performed rather admirably it terms of talking to girls and people in general. I go to the doctor the next day and he gives me the diagnosis of a mild concussion. Ok, so that was friday....how can my weekend get any more exciting you ask? Well...simple my friend.
It was saturday night and I was coming back from filling out some paper work at CANS where I will start working rather soon. There I was, finished, leaving and entering my car. I turn into the street from the driveway and it's all clear until so douchebag in front of me suddenly decides to screech on his breaks and I slam in the back of his car. We exchange contact info, etc and he starts yapping at me about having to pay 750 to fix his car and I just tell him "that's great", and my insurance will cover the rest. So they do, but to fix my car it will cost god damn near a grand, so I will have to start saving up money big time now.
But I found out who my true friends are in times of need. Ben and Sam really came through for me, offering me what little cash they had in attempt to help me pay off this "debt", so I thank them more than anyone. Karma exists in the universe, and these two will soon reap the fruits of being selfless. Nothing else needs to be said.
Anyway, that is the past weekend that was. Happy St. Nick's everybody.
