Are escalators really that hard to use?
I was running a little late this morning on my way to work. Ya, it was sort of my fault but its Monday so who cares. Anyways I could have easily made back that lost time if people knew how to walk up and down escalators and stairs properly. If you can't walk the stairs at a reasonable pace then move your ass over to the escalator. If you can't walk the escalator then move to the right and let people walk up on the left. It's really not that hard.
The people that I hate the most are the ones that walk slowly all to the end of the escalator and then stop at the last second and ride the rest. Yes. Beware. The end will swallow you if you touch it.
Next. Don't stand in front of the subway car doors when people are trying to get out. Stupid fuckers. Wait a couple of seconds and let the rest of us assholes off before you start rushing in like cattle.
Mondays are good for complaining.
