I haven't told anyone here yet, but last August I joined the Army National Guard. I just recently completed training for my job, which is a Tanker, and am currently on my way back from our annual training in Mississippi.
I spent 8 years of my life as a U.S. Marine, from 96-2000. Then 05-09. I thought after that my military time was over. But after meeting someone during a GORUCK Challenge in Chattanooga, TN, I felt the call again.
My goal is to stick it out this time until I can retire. Otherwise, I will have to live the rest of my life with a hole I cannot fill any other way.
