Alright, I decided it's time to post something about the new year and all that cool jazz. 2009 wasn't a bad year for me. It signified a lot of change. After quite a lot of deliberation, I decided to leave the steady paycheck the Marine Corps offered behind for a chance to achieve my dreams. I am currently attending WyoTech in Blairsville, PA, and am in a classroom next to none other than Shotgun Suicide. I am going to be learning Collision Repair and Refinishing, as well as Applied Service Management and Chassis Fabrication. More skills to help me as an Artist. In my spare time I am working my ass off on my artwork, and trying to find any and all avenues to get it out to the public, and get paid. I have the most amazing woman I've ever met waiting for me back home in Florida. So I think that 2010 will be good. It will be a trying time for me with her being there and me here, but I feel that the separation is just another test. We've known each other for over 4 years now, and in that time I've only seen her a handful of times. It's different now than then because while I was home for two months we hit it off. I'm crazy about her, and she's pretty crazy about me too. I'm not used to that. Thankfully I get breaks, so I'll be able to go home and see her.
Also, the art thing. I really want to find at least some sort of success in it. I'll be opening a site on zazzle this coming friday. It's pretty much starting with some of my older artwork on various shirts and stuff, but I will be expanding it at every chance I get with designs specifically for the site. I'm also painting more, and will be attempting to sell said paintings on ebay or wherever I can.
All in all. It's just another year. The main hurdle I'm concerned about is remembering to write the date correctly.
