For the longest I've thought whatever thoughts might come.
I've dwelled in the depth of my psyche, and wallowed in its mire.
Locked in the chains of self destruction, obsession, and guilt.
I have wondered and questioned and begged for answers to unknown questions.
All the while grasping through the darkness inside, hoping for any slight beam of light.
But as with all things, change has come.
Instead of listening to the thoughts that come, instead of riding the spiral down,
I only hear static.
Finally, some sort of peace.
