I am just ecstatic! Someone finally bought my vintage Frye boots from my Etsy shop! I am so, so happy that someone will finally be wearing them instead of just sitting in my closet... all sad because they're too big for me. I haven't ever sold vintage before, and I made sure she checked her measurements a hundred times but I hope she loves them... I get excited about the smallest things haha. When I got the order confirmation, I seriously jumped up and shouted "yessssss" then proceeded to find a nice box for them, I made two free gift prints for her, packaged them nicely in paper and wrapped them with yarn! Like a present. I trotted off happily to the post office in the snow and mailed that shit out!

She should have them by tomorrow... so excited.

In other good news, someone from Wales saw my cozy sap green cowl and told me how they were opening a shop as well, that was about naturals, folk culture in Wales and all of that good stuff, and how she'd like me to make the cowls for her... in colors of nature. Amazing? Yes! I love rich greens, pale greens, sky blue, river blue, bark brown, etc.

...so she is going to be purchasing 4 of them (I'm giving her a 5th one for good measure since this could be the beginning of a good partnership). Of course I freaked out with joy and bought new wool and yarn even though I had all the necessary colors.

God, I just love making things for people. So, please don't hesitate to order one! $12 ain't bad! You can have it customized with vintage buttons, yarn bows, yarn flowers, or embroidery saying whatever you'd like it to say, any color you like, just let me know!

Then I can have more reasons to ecstatically package it, with a cute little tag and yarn ribbon, run off happily to the post office and mail it out to you.

Now, I must get back to my orders.

Peace.

P.S. I still haven't posted pictures of my new glasses. Why? I do not know. I must even though no one reads my blogs, haha!
