NOTHING... is better than getting home from a long day and being greeted with the excited, wiggly, furry and unconditional love of a dog.

I was having a pretty rough day but I walk in the door and BAM, Riley was wiggling, wagging and squirming at my feet and it pretty much negated everything before it.

Animals are so amazing. Even my fish Socrates is chill... every time I walk by his serene little bowl, I always have a chat with him and he totally listens.

My presentation went pretty nerdy today, I was completely freaked out and too nervous so I must have sounded like a FOOL, but it's over! OVER! Just have to write a history paper for tomorrow.

I'm actually pretty excited about my eye exam on Thursday because my insurance allows me to get new lenses and new frames this exam! YES! I think I am going to go for the Ray Ban club master style ones... I can't help myself.

I know all I keep doing is rambling about school, but it's completely taken over my life the last few weeks, this week and for the next two weeks. So all I can say is... I CANNOT WAIT for winter break, so I finally have some time to shoot more pictures, finish the enormous amount of film I bought, and RELAX! Spend some time with my best girl friends, and spend more time with my man.

At least my thesis is about body-modification, the self, about how body-modification is clinically defined as a self-harming behavior and about the personality "type" of a modified person. So I'm really interested in what I've been researching and writing about for a year now.

It's just... so long... so much revision, so much information.
