NEVER?!! I mean ...oh well. You didn't miss much. Trick or treating is becoming a thing of the past anyway. It's kind of sad but Im seeing it in the suburbs around Vancouver. Malls are opening up and the stores give out candy to the kids. All the feeling of walking through your neighberhood, but with the security of being in a mall. Free from strangers, except for the customer service people. Pisses me off that the level of mistrust in fellow indivduals is so great that it's prefferable to place trust in wal-mart.
Ok rant over. I think the election is getting me a little figity with my morality

Do you know if saltwater taffy actually salty? I've never had any so I have no idea. Payday bars are good for salty-sweet connection.

I put up some pics of the driftwood structures my uncle builds, so take a look. Maybe he could be pursuded to build one for us. wink

Oki Dog

(former location)
Santa Monica & Vista

Oki became a punk hangout in the late seventies, probably because it was close to the Starwood and other Hollywood clubs, it was open late and made burritos as big as your arm for under $3. Plus it had a nice big parking lot for socializing. But soon the police and the neighbors put a damper on the fun. You can find other Oki Dog locations in Los Angeles with the same fine menu. Pastrami burritos are a specialty.
