Wow, blast from the past! I don’t I’ve heard about him since the early 90’s. I liked his more raw, punk sounding, singing on the early Maiden albums. Rip.

@skisby Sadly, his career was very on and off in recent years. He had a lot of health issues, had to amputate a leg, and was in a wheelchair. He was a victim of his own vices, unfortunately, and kept declining. But he still released music on occasion. His most recent album with Di'Anno (the band) was earlier this year.

I would also recommend getting coffee beans and grinding them by yourself. That aroma just feels soooo good  😋

Pro-tip if you're new to instant coffee like me and trying to find the best balance between powder and water: If you end up looking like you're unsure whether you're doing an impression of Robert De Niro or Clint Eastwood—and failing at both—it's somewhat too strong/bitter.

@niffler I'm excited to get started on this, because I have loved so many of his other books. My goal on Goodreads this year is 30 books, and I am currently at 22, so I've done really well so far. It's been a bit slower lately due to my own writing sessions, though, but I think I will reach my goal by the end of December!

Tried to snap photos of myself on a nature hike using the front camera aimed at myself for a wider angle. That didn't work out too well.

It looks like I decided that a good time to take selfies was right in the middle of getting mauled by a mountain lion.
