Going to ATTEMPT to watch the meteor shower tonight.
Unfortunately, I have two things running against me.
1) It will not be clear, it's gonna be partially cloudy.
2) South Florida is an ORGY of errant light, clouding the view of the sky for how ever many feet/miles up. (I saw this more clearly than ever last night, as I flew into MIA at midnight, and was looking out the window....i was seeing cities, and black areas, and stars...and then out of nowhere, this HUUUUUUUUGE mass of light...it was insane. you could see how far up the light went into the atmosphere, and how much it was affecting star visibility)
As if those weren't enough, I will still attempt to go...and attempt to do some photography. Might as well try, right?

That sucks. How often to meteor showers occur? I'm guessing not very often.
