FINALLY got new curtains.
I meant to spend today editing photos from my trip....and I started on that...but after an hour I was getting really antsy, so on a whim I decided to finally attempt to do something I've had on my to-do list for 3 months now.
I spent about 3 hours, going to different stores, looking at the curtain rods first, to see what I could use in my room that would alleviate my situation (i have HUUUUUUUGE double window, that faces the rising sun....so by 9am my room is baking). Then figuring out what kind of curtain I wanted. THEN, finding out which was actuall available in the size I needed. Then spent another hour or so installing them.
I couldn't decide on color, so I picked one brown and one green (it's kinda in between olive and pastel). Good choice! Too much of either color would have driven me crazy.
Hopefully now my room won't be as insanely hot as it normally is, and I'll also be able to watch my HD tv from my bed during the day without getting nasty glare.
