If this girl doesn't make time for you, I wouldn't pour too much energy into her. I know that sounds mean, and harsh, but from my experience, when a girl like a guy (or another girl), most of the time she will go out of her way to spend time with that person. That includes making concrete plans for later if she is busy that week, etc. If she doesn't do anything, play hard to get for a week or two- if she comes after you, she's into you, if she doesn't, then move on.
I can not believe you have never had a girlfriend- you look cute as a button (I know that sounds shallow) but hey- you're a good lookin guy! Also, you work at Bestbuy, and any gadget geek girl would be totally into that!
