I'm feeling quite a bit of disorientation right now. It's making reading my comics extremely difficult. I can't keep my eyes on the pages for very long without being confused about what's going on. Even writing this is a tad difficult.
In other news though, I have what I might consider a find of the year. I was at my Local Comic Shop and I...

Just what do you work on, anyways?
deuteranopia:
Huh, never heard of it. Is it a chain? Or just a few stores here and there?
Women, I pose this question to you.
What exactly do you want to hear when you're feeling down in the dumps? Someone who consider one of my best friends (if not my absolute best) just had surgery last week, and now, I think due to her boyfriend being on tour and her not doing anything other than lay there, she's judging her body too harshly....

From my experience with women (who for some odd reason always end up having huge body image issues) the best thing to say is nothing at all.
Just shift focus away from such negative thoughts.
OR you could opt for the cognitive behavioral therapy option, and get her to challenge such negative thoughts.
*shrug*

You know, honestly, despite everything.. Sometimes there really isnt anything someone can say in that situation to make her feel better. Just my opinion though. When I'm not feeling it.. I just dont want to hear it.
I am not helpful
As a fan of Charisma Carpenter, and the Buffyverse in general, I'm saddened by the turn her career has taken post-Buffy/Angel.
Doesn't seem like anyone from SG is entering our contest over at multiversity comics. Kinda bums me out. It's SUCH a good contest.
My eye is better. It was a sty, and a nasty one at that. somehow I got a children's eye problem. Oh well. I guess I should be a little more careful.

Its weird how we get films before anyone else most of the time.
It was pretty good though, despite the *awful* ending. He finds an interesting tool to prop up a particle accelerator too

Oh I wouldn't call him a shit actor at all. He's gotten a lot better since his humble beginnings in Australian television. And he blew Christian Bale off the screen in Terminator Salvation. Mind you that was the only role I really thought he was good in. I just don't like gimmicks like 3d film. For starters its misleading, and often in big effects films story, character and direction are left by the wayside.
But Iron Man 2 was definitely not a bad film.

Oh look, now that there's not a convention in my life, my life is rather boring. Oh well.
The last couple weeks have been pretty uneventful. I've been working, but I'm REALLY starting to hate working at the mall. The mall itself is dying. Somehow there's a Walmart in it and it's driving smaller stores and chains away. It's terrible, but I don't know how...

And with that, WonderCon is over. I didn't post last night because I didn't really think about it I guess. But never fear! I still attended and did things I never thought I'd be able to do.
