Hello SG-ers
Things are working out pretty well at the new apartment. The living room is still a little bare, but my room looks really good. I still have a small bed, but it was free! So I'll gladly sleep on it until I get a new queen size or better.
My closet is huge! I found a dresser at a second hand shop for $3, and I hid it in the closet since there's so much room. My action figures are all up and whatnot, so my room is starting to look like home.
It's not without it's fair share of difficulties though. I'm still adjusting to the area, and my asthma, which is already pretty out of control, went haywire. And I don't have insurance, so it's incredibly expensive to just get an inhaler every two weeks, let alone go to appointments. Hopefully I can either A) get some pro bono stuff from my doctor, B) head to the Berkeley Free Clinic, or C) get a new job with some quality insurance (which is something I want anyway)
But until then, things are good! I miss my puppies, though. Stupid no-pets-policy.
