So I went to the doctor yesterday for a particularly nasty cold I've had. A couple days ago I coughed up something no human should be coughing up (orange phlegm).
Even though he didn't come out and say it, but I think my doctor thinks I have a sinus infection. He gave me antibiotics and some cough syrup (with codeine). So I didn't go to work the past few days, and right now I'm kind of flying. I can see why someone would get addicted to cough syrup. It's kind of intense, and I just had a dose.
Tonight I'm still going out, however. Tonight one of my favorite bartenders is leaving my favorite bar, so I'm going to see her off. She'll still be working for the same people, just at a different bar a little further away. Oh well.
