Oh look, now that there's not a convention in my life, my life is rather boring. Oh well.
The last couple weeks have been pretty uneventful. I've been working, but I'm REALLY starting to hate working at the mall. The mall itself is dying. Somehow there's a Walmart in it and it's driving smaller stores and chains away. It's terrible, but I don't know how long I can take it, or how long Anchor Blue will even BE there. Oh well. I'm looking to apply at Best Buy, since I already love the company and have a lot of friends who work there and love it.
But that brings me to my conundrum.
I have asthma. Pretty severe asthma at that. It I get a job at Best Buy, there's no guarantee I'll be able to have insurance through work (yet). Now, last night I had a pretty awful asthma attack, and I fumbled around for about 5 minutes looking for my inhaler, barely being able to breathe. I almost passed out looking for it, and it took 3 doses to alleviate the symptoms. Maybe if I can knock the eventual interview out of the park, it'd open up a full-time position for me. But it's a long shot.
On a positive note, my monthly membership ends today, only to be replaced by a yearly membership that I got for super duper cheap from the aforementioned convention. So I'm in it for the long haul!
Stay Classy, Suicide Girls!
