My God, today was the best Black Friday EVER.
Now, I work retail, and today is of course Black Friday. I was a little apprehensive because I expected it to suck.
Turns out, it didn't. Not even close.
It staarted out a little humorously, because while I was riding the bus, the bus driver and a passenger (both African-American) were discussing how "Black Friday" was a racist term. That made me cock my head to the side and go "wut?" because Black Friday is a reference to finally pulling a profit. Going from the red to the black. It amused me, but I moved on.
I got to the mall early, so I walked around, checking out the deals. Turns out there were quite a few booths selling collectors items like Sports Memorabilia and action figures and what not. I found a Superman/Batman: Public Enemies Action Figure set and a Flash Action Figure (such a sucker for DC) for myself, and I even managed to stumble upon a Venom action figure (one of the original figures from the 90's) for my friend, who's a HUGE fan of the character. But while I was looking around, I found something I had been wanting to read SO BADLY. I found a trade called Avengers: World Trust, written by my favorite writer, Geoff Johns.
So naturally, I tweet about this because I'm a nerd, and mention Geoff Johns in it.
Well, 5 minutes later, I get this:

(yes, I do love being black)
Let me restate that for effect. I got THIS:

I had a nerdgasm. I started FREAKING out. OMG. I AM AGAIN JUST THINKING ABOUT IT.
*hyperventilates*
(for anyone not in the know, getting this from Geoff Johns is equivalent to a Twilight fan getting a response from Stephanie Meyer)

deuteranopia:
You're right, it does. However, this is something that really did happen to me. And I always wondered where they get their ideas on that show. They do some pretty far out shit.
