so after all my bitching about the holidays, i finally did something about it. i made my own. stayed local, said screw going home; and i'm so glad i did. i hung out with my girlfriends families. i went to my friends homes for the holidays. i experienced new places and people. took in some sights. made sweet sweet love to an israeli army officer. got some awesome christmas presents. made new friends who hopefully i'll see again.
it's been the most relaxing and exciting couple of weeks.
i needed that in my life right now. i really did. i missed being home but i got something so much better by staying here.
