Pilgramage to Flogging Molly

Friday~ we left Dayton at 8-ish, two hours later than we wanted to. The drive was smooth and no problem at all. We finally arrived where we were staying at about 9:45pm, to 3 very happy dogs... After touring the home of Miss Julie Jewels' sisters home we got settled in and found the wine cellar... We attempted to find a way into the room where the hot tub was for quite some time. With all of our might, we finally got it open to find that the hot tub wasn't in working order, so we decide it would be best to just sit in the California room and smoke while we were drinking the wine we had gotten into... Hours past and the conversation went on and on from one topic to another, before we knew it, 4 bottles of wine had been consumed and Anomaly and I were ready for bed, but Julie Jewels wanted to stay up a little later...Abby had left us about and hour before the wine was gone... About 4-5am...
Saturday~ we were all up by 10:30am. Anomaly and I hadn't gotten a hangover, while the other 2 were not happy campers most of the day... We looked for food to eat and ended up eating mostly humus and pitas... We finally started to get motivated at noon to go into downtown Columbus before the show... After all four of us got ready and changed multiple times, we only had enough time to get to Promo West and get something to eat before the show.. Little did we know there was a rodeo going on at the venue right across the street!! There were cowpokes everywhere!! We met up with another Myspace friend Thomas (This isnt where I parked my car) and one of his friends. The boys were sporting some great kilts and everyone just watched as they walked by or complimented them. When the show finally started, all of us made our way to the upper level to sit. We found The Briggs to be an enjoyable band, with a good looking lead singer. I was dying to get into the mosh pit the whole time they were playing because I kept looking down and watching the kids in there having so much fun!! The second opener (Street Dogs) was also good, and while they were playing I found my way to the pit with the boys. AS Flogging Molly was having sound check I kept making my way farther and Farther up to the stage. Big mistake!!!! Next thing i knew, they were playing and I had a guy behind me with a huge erection and nowhere to put it but into my back/butt area!!! It wasnt pleasant at all to say the least... I then had 4 big ass guys dropped on my head one right after another!!! Ah, the life of a mosh pit girl!!! I had to get out of there which wasnt hard considering the pit kept pushing people out after a while... I made my way back upstairs to the table and found the girls, where I got some pain reliever and some water... After the great show that Flogging Molly out on us met back up with the guys and said our good-byes to them... After we got back to the car I called a friend from college and he met us there and hung out for a little bit in the parking lot... We had one of our other Myspace friends Mike (Brian Slade) meet us for drinks back at the house... Anomaly went to bed very early while the rest of us stayed up and drink until the wee hours of the morning when we could barely keep our eyes open!! After a quick send off, Mike was gone and the other 2 girls and I went to bed... 8am
Sunday~ Up around 11:30am-12noon... We got everything ready and within 3 hours we were off!! Home at 5pm...Great weekend....I think we all needed that break from the everyday stresses we always have...

nice... now that sounds like my kinda weekends... but i go without the drinking, cause i dont drink!
