Oh...time for a new post...
It has been a lovely past week or so. I have been relaxing, not doing a whole lot, and just getting ready for the chaos that will be when I start school again next week.
I decided I was getting back into the OSU Orchestra this quarter. Ash misses her music. Sadly, "THE" Orchestra is no longer open to talented non-music majors and is only available to music majors...so I am stuck in the OSU Community Orchestra. But, it'll be okay. I need to finish making some bassoon reeds that I started and I will be good to go.
I have a head cold...I have no idea why I always get them in the summer or fall and never in the winter, but it's the first cold I have had in a while and it's mild, so I can't complain too much.
The Mom is coming to visit this weekend. Eeeek! I spent most of last night scrubbing the apartment. The Mom visiting is a heaven-hell kind of thing. I love my Mom...she's cool...she feeds me tasty things when she visit...sometimes she takes me shopping. But she is a super neat-freak...meaning my apartment is NEVER clean enough. The last time she visited I left to go to the drug store literally 1 minute from my house. I drove there, bought soap, drove home, and in that 10 minutes (TOPS!...it was more like 5) that I was gone she fluffed all the couch cushions, vacuumed the entire apartment, and re-arranged under my kitchen sink. I'm not kidding.
I am going to grab some din-din and take a little nap now...see if I can get this cold moving out more quickly.

If you feel like it, tell me what your favorite fall outdoor activity is...I am looking to go outside and play more...mostly by myself (I want it to be my relaxation thing)...so solo-activities are best.
