I have such a case of the Mondays today. I have been dragging-ass all day. I went to bed at like 10:15 last night, but I just tossed and turned for hours.

Oh, and of course, as soon as I wrote my last blog about how there haven't been any good Ash-stories lately, a cute story happens yesterday. It goes something like this:

Jon got home yesterday late afternoon, we took kid home and headed out to dinner. As we're driving, we start talking.
Jon: Guess what I told my folks about this weekend.
Me: *being a smartass* Wow. I have NO idea. Absolutely nothing exciting is going on around here.
Jon: *glares*
Me: Ok...ok...you told them we want to get married.
Jon: Yep. You should have seen my mom.
Me: Oh god...what'd she do?
Jon: Well, first she jumped up and down, then she cried, then she took her engagement ring off, threw it at me, and say "take it! take it now. ask her tomorrow. re-set the stones if she doesn't like the ring!"
Me: Awww...your mommy loves me.
Jon: And dad said "About time."...
Me: Awww...your dad loves me.

Then we got off topic because someone cut us off and Jon is the worst driver on the planet, so I had to duck and cover and yell at him. Haha. I really love his family. His mom is barely 5ft. tall and she's super cute. His dad never cuts his hair and thinks he's Italian (even though he's Swedish), so he says everything in mobster accent. Everything. It's downright hilarious. And his sister and I get on well enough, but we have a lot of problems finding something in common. She is super-mom/super-wife extraordinare, while I am anti-child and anti-housewife.

Math midterm tonight. But, I will go and kick its ass, so no problem.
