The Trauma Map
..Batman Begins..
The trauma of a fall.
The trauma of being engulfed in a cloud of monstrous noise,
black wings gliding by his face, shadows, rushing shapes.
The trauma of being left.
The trauma of feeling responsible, guilty to the core.
..The Machinist..
The trauma of colliding with a child on the road.
The trauma of escaping from the scene.
The trauma of being torn.
The trauma of dreaming while machines are being cleaned.
The trauma of feeling indebted to someone who is mean.
The trauma of wanting to atone.
The trauma of extreme fatigue & starvation.
The trauma of paranoid imaginings.
..Gothika..
The trauma of rape.
The trauma of the con.
The trauma of being possessed by
the spirit of a trauma victim.
The trauma of no voice.
The trauma of being utterly ignored.
The trauma of being physically attacked.
The trauma of being overly serious about life.
The trauma of remembering too much.
Traumatize someone in a moment of abandon and they will traumatize someone too. This is called cycle of violence. If they're incapable of hurting others, they will usually just traumatize themselves. How do you stop a trauma wheel. My guess is everyone is different. But for humanity in general, the trauma wheel is probably stuck on "forever spin," because of physics or something. Maybe the best way is to think of some advice for people at large, and then apply it to yourself. Or to toss all conventional advice into the water, cause advice is almost never quite as helpful as we'd like.
