Wanting something that doesnt exist in any particular abundance.. Wanting to find it out there. Or wanting the substance that doesnt exist much to find us. Or wanting to contribute to the creation of the something that doesnt exist much. Or giving up, realizing that it probably doesnt exist at all and will never be found. Its a myth. Fuck the something that doesnt exist to hell. Theres certain substitutes that probably work just as well. Wanting to want something else. Wanting to find and create something that exists more easily and according to ones own creative capacities.
Im still intrigued by this word hox. And the whole idea that women are hoxed by civilization. Some of the hoxing is forced, but some of it is voluntary (such as high heels which prevent running). Society says that if people hox themselves in a certain additional way, theyll receive a small and different source of power. Or strength. Or beauty. Or fabulousness. Or confidence. Or self-respect. Or individuality. If youre going to make a go of it, even with all the hoxing, one necessarily develops various skills. Men are hoxed, they just arent hoxed in the same ways, and not as much, therefore the skills that men acquire to overcome the hoxing are less complicated. Some men are hoxed much more than it would appear. Lots of men are hoxed emotionally. The emotional hoxing is something that men live within. Their ability to overcome the emotional hoxing is inevitably what defines them. Is it ok to blame people for being hoxed. Probably. Maybe hoxing doesnt mean what I think it does. I think, in the most general sense, it can mean to damage some aspect of a person so that he or she becomes unlikely to excel in a particular area. Whereas according to dictionary.com, it means to to hamstring which means to cripple or to destroy or hinder the efficiency of; frustrate. In that case, winter hoxes some of us. The ever increasing darkness hoxes. How can the nights be getting darker still and these omnipresent clouds. Goddess where for art thou. Bring the sun up right now, just for kicks, just to be different. Right in the middle of the night. Sun up. Do it. Ok fine, dont.
