Feminism is misnamed. The brochure says we invite men to participate. But in the fine print it reads as long as you understand that the focus is on us, the ones with the vaginas. There is on offshoot of feminism which is more about the feminine. But mostly its about liberating women: Its concerned with the female-bodied people and their socio-economic interests, familial interests, love interests, et cetera. Its femalism basically. And whats in a name. Nothing really, but feminism isnt about the feminine, its also about the masculine, and thats because the focus is the female-bodied, and since women have both feminine and masculine traits they want to include both under the feminism name. They want to say that feminism is about feminity and masculinity co-existing together in harmony, and thats not a fair name for such a concept. Theyre like feminism encompasses the entire world of ideas, and if youre a human being, youre a feminist. That is a lie. It implies that femininism is the meta-idea that encompasses us all. That encompasses both feminine and masculine and all the theoretical traits of humans and of the natural world and it makes feminism into a god-neutral religion. Why shouldnt it be? Well, because its slanted towards one sex, and I aint born of that sex (sucks doesnt it, to be marginalized Um, I guess). Feminine is an aspect. Masculine is an aspect. Masculine is not some kind of abortion of the feminine ideal. The feminine principal does not create the world though. It mostly provides a temporary space where life creates itself. Reclaim the feminine. Yes. The eternal feminine. Yes. Reclaim the masculine. Yes. The eternal masculine. No. As you say, youre better than the rest, youre more enlightened cause your feminist, whatever. The feminine archetype and the masculine archetype are the same in one respect: they both want to encompass all that is best. But its not the feminine or the masculine that creates a life, its the interactions, the relations, the spark is just the spot where relationships and the flesh of objects come together for a bit, and that spark is basically everywhere. No single thing has ever, by itself, created anything. Unless it is involved with creating its own life, but even then it seems there are relationships involved, dynamics, other living things that play a role in how it all comes about. Thats not a fair presentation of what feminism is Fine. Everyone is wrong unless theyre you. Im just saying feminism is about too much. Its about so much that its effectively religion. Its sacrosanct. Dont besmirch its sacred name. A feminist named Mary Daly wrote Women who reject patriarchy have this power and indeed are this power of transformation that is ultimately threatening to things as they are. Women who reject patriarchy are transformative, yes. I get that. But dont be saying that patriarchy is a masculine phenom cause it isnt. Patriarchy is a result of the play of various things: genetics, cultures, individuals, both men and women were there, making it happen. Theres a tendency to say, theres only two sides to this coin, so if woman-consciousness is this, then male-consciousness is that. People want to separate aspects of consciousness (the feminine and masculine principals) into opposing parts. And if theyre opposing, then one must eventually win, and if one must win, they say it should be the feminine. Thats the argument. But the fact is that things for the most part come in threes. The X, the Y, and the rest. And the rest includes all the junk that doesnt seem to fit. Feminism hopes to encompass everything by being so inclusive that it becomes the new meta-idea to replace its historical enemy: the Patriarchy. And thats nice except for the massive one-sided slant that is embedded in the name feminism. It wants to reach out and transform the world in its own likeness. But it defeats itself by being so assured of its own supremecy. When something becomes so inclusive, it becomes a cage that includes us. Is feminism a means to an end, like once it succeeds in the goal of making things right, and more fair, will it walk away, or will it reign supreme. Is its victory inevitable but limited, like the flip-flop of magnetic north. An extremely long lasting, but ultimately temporary victory. Does it have more staying power that that. Will the changes that it makes last forever. Will it be like the Necromonger from the Chronicals of Riddick, taking over every single world it finds, remaking entire populations in its own likeness, because its cause is so pure, and its magicks so wise. Or is that what the patriarchy does, so that feminism is more like the Riddick character. The force of rebellion (the furion) who inevitably finds himself the master of the institutions that he hates. And his friend, the one that he had come to save, she dies cause of what Riddick forgot. What did Riddick forget? He forgot that she would always have his back.

Kira sacrifices herself for Riddick. What might people say were her reasons for doing this.
She sacrifices herself for him, the human, cause she lusts for his bod, or maybe its more familial, or in-group tribal.
Sacrifices herself cause she believes that the nature of their relationship requires it at that moment.
Sacrifices herself for the spirit of rebellion from the sameness that she is constantly surrounded by.
Sacrifices herself cause of a promise that she made to a god within her head. Shes projecting her inner archetypes all over him. Pshhh.
Sacrifices herself becomes shes suicidal. Oh my gosh. The Necromonger branded her, she doesnt want this life.

When Pitch Black 2 is over Riddick finds himself in control of an entire culture. Resurrection of her, at the center of the galaxy, should become the goal of the entire Necromonger army. That might be a good starting point for the 3rd movie. The quest to save kira would be one aspect of a more involved storyline involving many characters. It could begin simply: Someone casually asks him shall we put his body in the life recovery hall (referring to dead leader of the Necromonger, Lord Marshall, that riddick just killed) and Riddick becomes intrigued. And finds that apparenlty, once you get to the center of the galaxy, or wherever it is theyre headed, life and death become strangely intertwined. Life becomes eternal. Resurrection becomes sort of spontaneous, and there are many risks. But some of what happens depends upon your karmic situation. And the trip to the center of the galaxy could make for some awesome special effects and Event Horizon kind of horrors. Or Riddick could give up now, leave her dead body on the floor, turn traitor, hang his head in shame forever. His choice. Ultimately, whatever he decides hell have to realize (as he did, years ago) that theyre better off apart. That he can only ever bring her trouble. Because his desire to always save her is based on a lack of trust in her ability to survive without him. And that isolates her in a strange way. Cause his trust is really all she needs, and thats the only thing he wont give her. And she doesnt understand why not, which makes her doubt the relationship, and thats what ultimately kills her. But in the meantime, it could make for an entertaining story, maybe. Or maybe he chooses to settle down with her and be a family. I dont know. Itd be nice if they could be happy. And maybe they can use all the occult themes to their advantage. Anyone that might want to take these plot point is welcome to them. in my own imagination they seem pretty good. What is the Necromonger about if not the resurrection of a dead mans heart. Maybe Riddick thinks hes going to save the girl, but hes really doing it for selfish reasons of his own. Reasons that he will discover once he gets there. To his great sorrow. What he finds in the pitch black this time will be very different. It will not be something he can deal with, except by coming to trust in Kira.
The Necromonger works pretty good as metaphor for patriarchy. Kira has the stamp of the patriarchy on her neck. But its just a stamp. It limits her in some ways. But it doesnt limit her forever. To balance the scales shell have to save riddick more than once. And it should also be a movie where both of them have an equal significance to the story. The third movie cant be about riddick. And it cant be about death. It has to be about the motive of the reason for living. Followed by a release for everyone on the planets from the horrible conformity that the Necromonger demands. Its got to be pitch black too at some point, with no hope left, except for one little dot named kira. Far away in the distance, you know, reflected in his eyes or something -- hes got that shine job on his eyes that makes them glow. And the resurrected kira, (resurrected by the galaxy, not by riddick) will maybe have something to show for her journey back from the dead like some kind of nightcrawler magick. Or an understanding of how to undo the Necromonger from within. Or an understanding of how to cure the Necromonger of its singularity of purpose. Its disastrous lust for growing itself so much. Its cancerous affliction. Its will to be everywhere at once. Its urge to destroy all differences. Like the strength card, she somehow gently touches its head and tames the holy terror. (tames the Necromonger, not Riddick).
