There is a type of person that habitually directs their rage at the unfortunate. They will get mad at the poor person who sits on his ass. But they dont get mad at the rich person that sits on his ass. And whats so bad about someone sitting on their ass. Why is that such an unforgivable sin. People should be productive People should be productive People should be productive. This idea is ingrained in her mind. No wonder shes so pissed off. Life needs to be fair, we must strive for fairness. We must run until we die. If a society is not created in order to provide for all the people within it, then it is not a society. It is a labor camp. And if you think that putting yourself into wage-slavery is proof of some higher moral character then youre a piece of shit and I hope you learn why you are mistaken. I think Robert Johnson once said something about expressing the shadow. How its important, and good for the soul, but he advised not to express it publicly. One should avoid stirring up other peoples shit. I try to remember this, which is why I post here. Rather than in some high traffic area. And I realize that Im guilty of oversimplifying. Like if you have a child, and you put yourself into wage slavery, I do realize that is a sign of high moral character, or that clearly it is a sacrifical act. However, in general, those who think they have a higher moral character are really just propping themselves up while undergoing the difficult grinding process called surviving on your own in america. Or living in a culture that has been so effected by protestantism, which established that one has to work in order to validate ones existance. People are like of course you have to work in order to validate your existance. And Im like, your reaction is exactly what Im talking about. Everyone gets sad, everyone gets happy, everyone gets mad, everyone blames some scape-goat character when they feel its important to. My scape-goat today was her. And its not even her fault, really, a lot of what she said was valid. And given time, Im sure I could be convinced of everything she said. It had a certain heft and weight to it, but given enough hours in front of the television set, I could probably start believeing that Sean Hannity was Mother Theresa. I fall into other peoples rationales so easily. I just feel like ripping someone elses arguments apart, to my own satisfaction. It makes me feel very much awake. Some people just cant tolerate pity. She feels pity for a tortured nano-second, and then immediately goes ballistic. I go ballistic too, but I dont go ballistic on people that are clearly suffering more than I am. I just go ballistic on people that want to blame other people for their situation, when they have no basis, when theyve simply looked at the person, and automatically sort of clairovoyantly know everything about it. People are responsible for changing their situation, yes. But they are not at fault for it. Just like you wouldnt blame the stick that someone is beeting you with. You cant really blame someone for their karma. Well, you can, because it seems like its obviously their fault, but finding fault with others is just a way of feeling better about yourself. Which might be why I rant, to dispel the sense of hopelessness that being quiet creates. Teach me why I should be pissed at those that fall, rather than at the system that request that we beat them until they get up. Is not their falling an aspect of the system. Why is the system blameless. To a republican, if someone gets punished by mistake, meh, it happens. If someone gets rewarded unfairly its an offense against god. Why is that. Why do they view punishment so nonchalantly and rewards like they were precious beyond words.
