i tense up
because the minute i hear those
words, i remember
something else.
when people say they'd like to help
they either want

about your behavior, or the condition of your life, or they
want to help you reach their idea of success,
rather than your own preferred life
it's just a thought
but everyone who thinks they have some good advice
also thinks everyone ought to follow their lead in terms of life choices
the majority of the time, helpful people have issues of their own. issues they would love for everyone to ignore. issues that made them desire to help others so much. i know that some people are awesome, especially to their friends. And that lots of people help others in obvious ways. I don't doubt everyone's intentions at all, just the average evangelical helpers of the land. i don't trust them. the end.
