This is the first Saturday in a long time that I've been just utterly bored. WTF? It's summer, I've got tons of unwatched DVDs, unread books, a script that needs to be finilized by June 9, beer to drink, bands to go see, ALL of this shit and I'm just damn bored.

I forgot how good El Mariachi is. I watched it tonight over some Heineken, although I should have grabbed Corona. Anyway, I just love Mexican backdrops and simple stories, and especially films made with sweat, tears, and zero cash.

Oh.. and they are the same group... but it was all a big misunderstanding (read: shitty cops). After alot of their shows they take the crowd out of the venue and keep playing. Think of "Stomp" but underground and much more of a hippy vibe So the people that were in the riot were just dancing and they got pepper sprayed by some cops who can't stand to see other people happy.
