I just finished ironing out the details for my trip to the Newport Beach Film Festival next weekend.
It looks like it's gonna be pretty awesome. I'll be seeing five movies a day for three days and a bunch of directors, producers, writers, and cinematographers giving talks!
If any L.A. folks have recommendations for fun things to do (I've done the usual Venice, Sunset, etc.), please drop me a line here...

Hopefully I'll get involved in a misadventure or two that I can report back here, but unfortunately I'm gonna be tied up most of the time with the fest. I might have to plan another trip later this year... hmmmm...
