Can someone explain to me how to insert contact lenses?? I ordered some for Halloween and it takes me fifteen mintutes of frustration to get the job done. ARRGGG

All I can tell you is it just takes practice and that different methods work best for different people. Are these prescription or just cosmetic? I had a friend who mail ordered cosmetic contacts and they didnt do an exam and he has the hardest time with them because his eyes (like mine) are somewhat less round than most. The shape of the contact needs to match the shape of your eye so if you didnt have a proper exam done you may always have problem, Ok that being said best way for me is pretty direct. Place contact on index finger with dominant hand. Hold eye open with other hand, place contact directly over eye lens. A lot of people try to find a way to do it that doesnt involve direct contact with the center of the eye. I Think all of those attempts just make it harder. Once you get used to touching the eye with the contact it is no big deal. But for god sakes make sure you dont have anything on your fingers. Good hand washing will prevent both stinging/irritation and infection. Goos luck.
