It's neat how the ads fit in with the lifestyle and culture aspect of the mag isn't it? They almost don't seem like ads at all in the traditional sense. I'm so glad you're diggin it!

Oh.. and they are the same group... but it was all a big misunderstanding (read: shitty cops). After alot of their shows they take the crowd out of the venue and keep playing. Think of "Stomp" but underground and much more of a hippy vibe So the people that were in the riot were just dancing and they got pepper sprayed by some cops who can't stand to see other people happy.

I've always wanted to go out to LA. I have a friend out there that is a grad student at AFI, always invites me out there but i never have time. if you find any good thing to do out there lemme know!!!

Hopefully I'll get involved in a misadventure or two that I can report back here, but unfortunately I'm gonna be tied up most of the time with the fest. I might have to plan another trip later this year... hmmmm...
