So apperently when I previewed Green Day's American Idiot I missed the great wonder of the one liners that is Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Now, granted, the entire song is fairly cliche and made to be really accessible. Green Day made this choice a long time ago and generally I'm ok with it since they still proceded to kick ass, even though it was popular ass.
The one line that sticks wtih you is probably the most cliche, but damned if it isn't a good one:
'My shawdow's the only thing that walks beside me.'
How angsty and wonderful. I love it and I'm sure your tween will love it too.
