So it has recently been brought to my attention by my friends and family that I have a birthday coming up in a little over a week. I used to love birthdays, but this year...I just can't seem to get excited. I don't know why, and maybe in a couple of days my view will change. But when a birthday falls on a Wednesday and you don't really have anyone to do anything with...it sort of loses its spark. Oh well. Maybe next year?

That is understandable. As I have grown older to me my birthday really doesn't mean all that much. I never had a large family so birthdays were never a big spectacle to begin with.
