Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! I appreciate it very much.

My birthday was the best birthday ever!!!

My birthday actually started the day before - when I recieved twelve beautiful long stem roses at work on Friday. I started my actual birthday with a manicure and pedicure - and aside from the fact that my cuticles hurt a bit now, that was lovely. After coming back home from that I got to open my pressies! Amung my wonderful gifts was a beautiful white gold dress ring with four diamonds. It is so beautiful! After pressies, I had a lovely picnic with Matthew in the Japanese Gardens - and was sang to by beautiful Magpies. We then went out to Cha Cha Char for dinner - which is a slightly posh resturaunt in the city. They have numerous awards for best Wagu and regular steaks. We had a beautiful meal, wonderful cocktails and lovely champaigne. At the peak of this beaufiul evening ... Matthew proposed to me! I am now engaged! Cha Cha Char gave us some complimentary champaigne to congratulate us. The ring is GORGEOUS! It's white gold with a round brilliant cut ... it's slightly different too - it's very me and I love it so much.

Matthew is the most wonderful person I've ever met. I'm so honoured to be betrothed to him.
