Hello.
I went to the Brisbane Marilyn Manson concert the other week and it FUCKING ROCKED! I managed to crush myself up into the third front row at one point, and managed to get close enough to get some of his spit on me - if you don't know, Manson habitually spits into his audience... which is a gross kinda 'gift' to those close to the stage. When you're close enough to get spat upon, you know you're pretty fucking close.
I had to leave the pit three times though because I was close to passing out - which Matthew and I are more or less chalking up to the fact that we hadn't slept at all in the previous 48hrs due to uni, hadn't eaten anything substantial in that period either, and didn't have enough time before going to properly hydrate. Aside from the three periods of dizzying blindness, I also managed to fall over three times in the middle of the pit too. One of those times I almost had a drugged up, shirtless bald guy stomp me to death.
Was an awesome experience, and I'm so glad we managed to make it. And, of course, I want him to come back right away so we can see him again.
We're heading over to London, England to live in early next year. Currently, plans are to take off in early February. We're planning to drop by Paris, France for a week, and probably Dublin, Ireland for a couple of days too in the first couple of weeks that we are there.
I'm in the middle of my last two weeks of university FOREVER at the moment. I'm going to be a 21 year old in London, England with two undergraduate degree's looking for work in IT. Here's hoping it goes well. Actually, as I write this I'm procrastinating from doing one of my last four assignments due in these two weeks.
I've been having pretty bad headaches lately. It makes focusing near impossible. I hope they go away soon.
