This weeks marks the official week I must book my return flight back to the States. The flight will be in December and yet, it feels like I'm pausing mid chapter to see how many pages I have left before its over. This chapter of my life is not yet over, but I must savor every last moment of it before it ends and I must start the next one. I know some of the characters in the next chapter for sure, but who else will be there? What will happen to the plucky main character? These are some of the questions going through my head as I wait to book this flight.

Alright, enough with the book analogy. Its true I have to book my flight home when school ends, and I'm bummed out about it. Not in that I'm going to shed a tear about it or stand in terminal of the airport hugging the love of my life saying how we can buck all the odds and make long distance work. Cliches aside after spending the better part of a year in a place making a life for oneself you become attached. The time spent in this country has been a nice change of pace for me. I found people I like living with as well feel more comfortable here than I have back in the States. Don't get me wrong I like the States maybe not what we have come to represent, but after all the idiots get all the limelight. Its more aspects of the country and of course my friends. I have shared the news of my return date with several friends back home and it has been received with kind words. I'm not sure how often friends actually take the time to mention how much they care about one another, its more or less one of those unspoken bonds. However, that being said hearing my friends say it will be good to have me home, made me feel I don't know appreciated.

Feelings aside, I'm looking to do something overly 'EMERICAN when I get home.
Today I thought of drinking beer from a beer helmet while eating a cheeseburger and shooting a pistol at something. Besides that I guess I would have to punch something and do a jager bomb.

Ideas are welcome.

Until next time. Later days.
