Boy what a kick ass awesome end to a depressing beginning of the week. I was feeling sorry for myself as usual, and a dear friend I had emailed wrote back to say I love you but I cant stand to hear you talk bad about yourself anymore. Another had written back that the Todd she knew never had a problem talking to girls. Hang in there I have a point. I thought about both of those emails and decided I have been a jackass shit head long enough I can be a good guy again, and the reason people dont want to hang with me is because I am always down on myself. So Thursday I decide I am gonna be happy, Im gonna start working for what I want again and Im gonna slow down the drinking. I get to work Thursday my boss hands me a piece of paper that say the superitnedent of our department just promoted me to master mechanic, that comes with a 1.20 pay raise so now I make 19.15 an hour. So today no kkids this weekend i make myself go do something so I go see spidey 2, KICK ASS MOVIE, while I am waiting I wander around our tiny mall and I see a girl at one of the things to keep booths reading book 5 of harry potter I love those books so I stop and we have a great conversation for an hour and a half. As I left she said come back and tell me how it was, I was like ok can I bring you a coffee, she says ice mocha small. Well the movie got out 15 minutes after the mall closed so it will be an ice mocha surprise come Sunday if the mall is open at the latest on Monday. I cant thank those two friends enough for standing by me and watching me self destruct at the same time I owe how happy i feel and my determination to not get down on myself to them.
